I have made all the covers for Dom the Composer’s music for many years now. Working with Dom has been such a rewarding experience. We both have very strong aesthetic sensibilities so we always have to find a way to merge our different ideas into one image that we make together. Our style is evolving slowly over our time working together, but a consistent feature has been the drawn image of the musician’s character The Composer. All hand-drawn and hand-written elements are done by the musician himself.

Dom the Composer is a Lowell/Boston MA -based singer/songwriter with one mission: “to make music with a some rhythm, a little bit of blues, and a whole lotta soul.” He can be found on all streaming platforms under the name Dom the Composer.

Dollah Song (2025)

This is the highest concept art Dom & I have ever done for a cover. The total photoshopping job took a little over a week of working every day. I strongly encourage you to look at the Encyclopedia Brittanica entry for the US dollar and compare it to our Dollah— can you spot all the differences?

There are 14 alterations between the US $1 and the Dom Dollah.

For example: the green serial numbers on the Dollah read “42M Hungry” and “42.3M In Debt” referring to the 42M people in the US who rely on SNAP benefits to feed themselves & their families, and the 42.3M people in the US who currently owe money to the government for student loans.
